Mary Alice Foster, 79, of Thornville, died Friday May 4, 2012 at Hocking Community Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born March 6, 1933, in Newark, the daughter of the late Warren and Helen (Sheppard) Swartz. She was a 1952 graduate of Newark High School. A Homemaker, Mary Alice was an active member of the Buckeye Lake Eagles Auxillary #2801.
