			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Helen Lorena Davis, 89, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Autumn Care Center in Newark.  She was born on September 30, 1922 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Morty and Harriett (Swaggart) Dotson. Helen was a member of Welsh Hills Baptist Church, Newark.</p>
<p>She is survived by her loving family: children, Connie McFarland of Warren, Ohio, Danny Davis of Arizona, Kathy Jefferies of Newark, Marc (Peggy) Davis of Zanesville, Mabel (Keith) Christian of Florida, Crystal Browning of Millersport, and Clarice (Tony) Durtschi of Glenford; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Varner Paul “Jack” Davis, January, 1980; 2 sons: Rickey and Olie Davis; an infant son; granddaughter, Kara Jefferies; and 11 brothers and sisters.</p>
<p>A funeral service, celebrating Helen’s life, will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main St., with Pastor John Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.</p>
<p>Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 5:00-8:00pm.</p>

He was born on May 18, 1926 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Isaac Wesley and Florence Ethel (Cooperrider) Brown. Wesley was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and woodworker. He was a 1944 graduate of Thornville High School.</p>
<p>Wesley served in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he operated a bulldozer and dump truck in the construction and maintenance of roads and airstrips in Japan and thePhilippines. After discharge, he worked for the Holophane Company in Newark, and then later continued his career as a heavy equipment operator for the Shelly Company, where he retired after 30 years. Wesley was a member of Amvets Post 51, The American Legion Post 342, and Grace Lutheran Church.</p>
<p>He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Zelma; 6 children, Cynthia (Jeff) Mathews, Darrell (Debbie) Brown, Claudia Brown, Dwight (Mary) Brown, Cheryl (Andy) Verba, Cathy (Wayne) Jenkins, and son-in-law, Alan Underwood; 15 grandchildren: Amber and Ben Underwood, Kim Rodgers, Rhonda (Jeff) Wells, Kendall (Carl) Clovis, Autumn Brown, Meghan (Steve) Turner, Caitlin Hill, Jay (Kristin) Hill, Danielle (Shawn Peters) Brown, Ryan (Lindsey) Brown, Scott (Lisa) Brunn, Jennifer (Blake) Rosell, Kylie Jenkins, and Myles Jenkins; 12 great-grandchildren, Tristan and Kelsey Roberts, Cody Kling, Cole (Kaitlyn) Carpenter, Kyle, Emily and Brianna Carpenter, Isaac Underwood, Kyen Clovis, Regan Rosell, Mae Turner, and Emma Brunn; one great-great-grandchild, Landon Carpenter; and a sister, Ellen Agnew.</p>
<p>In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Brown Underwood; a half-sister, Edith Rose Revercomb; and a half-brother, Paul Brown.</p>
<p>A funeral service, celebrating Wesley’s life, will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Thornville home of Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service,56 South Main St., with Pastors Beth Bateson and Doug Lynn officiating. Burial will follow, at a later date, in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.</p>

<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meredith Mohler, December, 1990; grandson, Scott Mohler; great-grandson, Camron Mohler; 3 brothers, Roy, Paul, and Dennis Eveland; and 2 sisters, Agnes Tracy and Ruth Eveland. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="center">A funeral mass of the resurrection for Robert F. Blain, 81, of Thornville, will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake, with Father William B. Ferguson as celebrant. <p align="center">Robert died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio on January 30, 1931, the son of the late Grover and Mary (McMillen) Blain.  A mechanic, throughout his working career, he was a gentleman farmer in his retirement years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.</p>
<p align="center">He is survived by his loving family: his wife, the former Barbara Paugh, whom he married on January 22, 1952, his seven children: Bobbie (Danita) Blain of Orient, Bruce (Sue) Blain of Butler, Beve (Larry) Six of Columbus, Becki Duffey of Mt. Vernon, Barbara (Robert) Bowman of N.C., Bradley (Donita) Blain of Thornville and Beth (Johnny) Waldrop of Buckeye Lake; along with his 24 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren; his loving sisters Ruth Blain of Outville and Grace Callahan of Worthington; and brother-in-law John “JT” Thompson of Granville.</p>
<p align="center">In addition to his parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters, Robert was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Paul Duffey; his granddaughter Peggy “PJ” Albright and grandson Jeff Barber.</p>
<p align="center">The family will receive friends on Friday May 11, 2012 from 2-4 &amp; 6-8 P.M., with celebration of life services commencing at 7:30pm, at the Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and video tribute are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.</p>

He was born on November 3, 1931 in San Francisco, California to the late Peter and Georgia (Stroup) Netzela.  Peter graduated Jackson High School, Jackson, Michigan and Ohio State University. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War era, and a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Pataskala, Ohio.</p>
<p>He is survived by his loving family: wife, Joan Netzela, Granville;  four children, Debbie Collins, Delaware; Todd Netzela, and Jeannette Cooper, both of Columbus; and Lisa (William) Swick, Pataskala; two grandchildren, Tyler Martin and Dennis (Jennifer) Collins; and two great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>A funeral service, celebrating Peter’s life, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street, with Elder Josh Poulson officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.</p>

She was born March 6, 1933, in Newark, the daughter of the late Warren and Helen (Sheppard) Swartz. She was a 1952 graduate of Newark High School.</p>
<p align="center">A Homemaker, Mary Alice was an active member of the Buckeye Lake Eagles Auxillary #2801.</p>
<p align="center">She is survived by her husband, Herman Foster, sons Kip (Amber) Foster of Union Furnace, Don (Kathy ) Ward of Indiana; grandsons Brandon, Jonathan and Thomas Ward of Boston, Ma., Kyle &amp; Lexie Foster of Millersport, and Blake, Dalton, and Annamary Foster of Union Furnace.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="center">Olivia Joanne Joseph, 6 week old daughter of Douglas and Jennifer Joseph, Blacklick, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Olivia was born on March 16, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.</p>
<p align="center">She is survived by her loving family: which in addition to her parents includes her brother, Maxwell;   paternal grandparents, Brian (Karen) Joseph; an aunt, Susan Joseph; paternal great-grandmother, Eleanor Reiser; paternal great-grandfather, Herbert Schilling; several great aunts and uncles, and several cousins.</p>
<p align="center">Olivia was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John (Dorothy) Gonser; an aunt, Jolene McCloud; maternal great-grandparents, Joe (Louise) Osborne and Ross (Mae) Gonser; paternal great-grandmother, Marilyn Brewer; and paternal great-grandfather, Sanford Joseph.   </p>
<p align="center">Friends may call at the Full Armor of God Baptist Church, 14454 E. Broad St. Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, on Sunday, May 6, 2012, from 4-5 p.m. with a funeral service celebrating her life at 5 p.m., with Pastor Rocky Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:30 a.m.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="center">Jo England, 89, of Hebron, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday evening, April 24, 2012, at her home following a lengthly illness. Jo was born March 1, 1923, in Ambridge, PA., the daughter of the late John and Mary (Piatnek) Seaman. She was a former owner of the Englemar restaurant in Hebron;  clerk at the Seymours IGA for 18 years and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at Buckeye Lake, Hebron 55 plus club, Buckeye Lake Senior Citizens, “no trump” euchre club and the mother’s club. Jo loved playing cards and watching Reds Baseball and OSU football, and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.</p>
<p align="center">She is survived by her daughters Sandy M England, and Robin (Ken) Powell; grandchildren Mary Kenyon, Leslee (Art) Hill, Maria Powell, Joshua Powell; great-grandchildren Arthur, Trinity and Reilly Hill, Taylor and Maxton Howton; sister Margaret (Frank) Janks; brother Albert (Steffie) Seaman; and several nieces and nephews.</p>
<p align="center">In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband A. Robert England III, her grandson John David Kenyon; and several sisters and brothers.</p>
<p align="center">Friends may call on Friday, April 27, 2012, from 2-4 &amp; 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of The Hoskinson Funeral &amp; Cremation Service, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville; where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m.; and again on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home, prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake. Private family burial will follow at a later date.</p>
