Alan Doerman

Alan Leroy Doerman, 70, of Fort Myers, passed away May 4, 2017, peacefully at his residence. A funeral mass has been scheduled to be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 5133 Walnut Rd., Buckeye Lake, OH 43008. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. The funeral will be serviced by Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service of Kirkersville, OH. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, In Pataskala, OH. Memorials: Muscular Dystrophy Association , 500 W. Wilson Bridge Rd., Worthington, OH 43085. Alan was born July 28, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Leroy and Mary Bell (Killinger) Doerman. He married Kathryn Patricia Alloy in Batavia, OH and they cherished 38 years together. Alan and his wife, Pat, owned and operated A.D. Farrow Harley Davidson of Columbus, OH and Centennial Park Harley Davidson of Pataskala, OH. He had a great fondness for cars and antique motorcycles. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Buckeye Lake, OH and St. Columbkille Catholic Parish of Fort Myers, FL. Alan is survived by his wife, Kathryn Patricia Doerman; brothers, Dale Doerman and his wife, Brenda LeMaster of Cincinnati, OH, Dean Doerman and his wife, Rhonda of Owensville, OH; nephews, Chris Doerman and his wife, Kelli of Cincinnati, OH, Jason Doerman and his wife, Kelly of Cincinnati, OH; and his beloved Scottish Terriers, Tobias (Toby) and Tara. The FORT MYERS MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME has been entrusted with the care of Alan.
