Albert Conners, Jr.

Albert Conners, Jr. 78 of Newark, passed away on April 2, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Newark, Ohio on April 21, 1944 to the late Albert Conners, Sr. and Pauline (Haluzcik) Conners. Prior to retirement, he was a machinist with Holophane for over 20 years. Albert enjoyed watching westerns on tv and spending time with family, especially going to his grandchildren’s baseball games. Survivors include his son, Douglas Conners and Jesse Conners; grandchildren, Jace Conners and Isabelle Conners; sister, Mary (Jim) Wright; brothers, Gary Conners and Danny (Cindy) Conners; nephews, Danny Conners, Steve Wright, Fred Wright and Jeff Wright; and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Owen Taylor Conners. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Newark.
