Alice May Turner-Fadley, 49, of Hebron, passed away on January 4, 2024 at the Highland Oaks Heath Care Center in McConnellsville. She was born in Bluefield, WV on July 17, 1974 to John E. Turner and Barbara (Flowers) Long. Alice was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was an avid horsewoman, enjoyed crocheting, drawing, loved farming and was a passionate artist. Most important was the time she spent with her family, especially doting on her grandchildren. Survivors include her parents, John E. “Eddie” (Nancy) Turner and Barbara (John) Long; children, Johnathan Anderson, Mikel (Ashley) Steffee, Adarian Steffee and Noah Santee; grandchildren, Zander, Zhyler, Landon and Tripp; sisters, Ruth (Dave) McCollister and Jonda Turner; brother, Kevin Hines; nephews, Jakub Dodson, Ben Fadley and Isaiah Yasko; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Toby Eger. Anyone who met Alice knew she had a personality and attitude that did nothing but make you love her. She could bring joy to anyone, even on the darkest days. She was one of a kind and she wouldn’t want anyone to be sad, but think of the life she lived while she was here and the memories she shared with everyone. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Alice, in c/o the funeral home, to help with funeral expenses. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Alice and her family.
