Alice E. Huck

A funeral mass for Alice Huck, 78, of Pataskala, will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake, with Rev. Fr William Hritsko as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Pataskala. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 24, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.

Alice passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born in Morgan County, Ohio on May 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Loren and Josephine (Gorell) Brownrigg.  She was a graduate of Waterford H.S. and worked for several years in the cafeteria at Southwest Licking Schools.

She loved caring for her family, and was a former member of the Red Hat Society, as well as a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

She is survived by her loving family: Her Husband, Richard Huck, whom she married on October 23, 1965; her daughters Sonya (Bret) Jones, Jennifer Huck; her grandchildren Christopher Hockstok and Mackenzie Jones; her siblings Lyle (Cindy) Brownrigg, Dorothy Gheen and Eileen (Robert) Lang and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Shane; and her siblings Frederick, Ralph, Wayne and Earl Brownrigg along with her sisters Betty Harris and Nancy Newman.
