Allie M. Snow

A funeral service for Allie M. Snow, age 63, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 29, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Katrick officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. THE FAMILY REQUESTS ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS ONLY DUE TO AN ALLERGIC CONDITION IN THE FAMILY.Allie was born October 2, 1952 in Newark, Ohio to the late Allie and Mary Snow. He passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.Allie was a 1971 graduate of Newark High School and had served in the United States Air Force from 1972-76. He was employed with Owens Corning Fiberglas for 43 years. He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ where he had served as the church sexton for many years. He was a member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed skeet shooting. Allie was a very family oriented man and was a wonderful husband and father. He was known for being helpful and helping anyone in need.He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra L. Debi (Tittle) Snow, whom he married June 10, 1972; two daughters, Nyssa Snow-Hill (Jeremy) of Columbia, SC and Tegan Snow Picklesimer (Craig II) of Newark; and many friends in his church and work families.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ, 285 West National Drive, Newark, OH 43055.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Allie and his family.
