Alvis Randall "Randy" Stapleton

Alvis Randall Randy Stapleton, age 64, of Newark, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home. Randy was born July 25, 1953 in East Lynn, West Virginia to the late Jay and Shelba Jean (Parsons) Stapleton. Randy was retired from Panacea in Columbus where he had been a forklift driver. He enjoyed family time and cookouts and was an avid fan of the Cowboys and the OSU Buckeyes. He is survived by his wife, Nancy J. (Ramsey) Stapleton, whom he married March 11, 1988; three sons, Jay Allen (Rhonda) Stapleton, Wade E. (Wendy) Stapleton and Chad Alan Ramsey; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Ed, Alan and Charles Helmondollar; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his beloved dog and best friend, Sadie Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Alvis Randall Stapleton II, on February 21, 1994; and by three brothers, Mike, Mark and Bobby Helmondollar. A private celebration of Randys life will be held at a later date. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Randy and his family.
