Andrew G. Collins, Sr.

A graveside service for Andrew Collins, Sr., 76, will be held on September 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairmount Cemetery, Jacksontown, with Pastor Bruce Dollings as celebrant.Andrew died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, following an extended illness, as he was surrounded by his loving family. Andrew was born March 25, 1936, to the late Cyde and Jessie (Underwood) Collins. He was a song writer who loved to write Christian music. He also enjoyed fishing, reading and hunting. He was a member of the New Hope Church in Newark.He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his sons: Andy (Debbie) and Sam; grandchildren: AJ Collins, Tasha (Ryan) Holmes and Great-grandchildren: Caden and Rye; and many nephews and nieces.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marjorie Baughman.The family will receive friends on September 14 2012, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hebron home of the HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 108 N. 7th Street, Hebron, Ohio followed by the graveside service.The family would prefer that memorials be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio PO Box 430, Newark, OH 43058.
