Anna Louise Franks

Anna Louise (Courson) Franks, 91, of Thornville, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. She was born on March 21, 1923 in Thornville, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl and Mary Estella (Edmund) Courson. Louise was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and until her health inhibited, she faithfully attended the Grace Reach out Circle. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, needle point, and crocheting. She is survived by her loving family: husband of 70 years, Vinton Cleo Franks; her brother, Marlyn (Phyllis) Courson; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Courson; and two sisters, Ruth White and Virginia Frankenbery. A funeral service, celebrating Louises life, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Grace Lutheran Church, Thornville with Pastor David Zandt officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville. Friends may call at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S.
