Anne M. Klein

A memorial service celebrating the life of Anna Anne May Klein, age 87, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Mark Pierce officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the memorial service on Wednesday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.Anne was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 23, 1928 to the late Cosmos and Rose (Montelik) Mintos. She passed away at Newark Hills Health and Rehab Center on October 27, 2016.Anne graduated from the Andrews School for Girls in Cleveland. She enjoyed nature, gardening, bowling, tennis, going to the YMCA, was an avid reader and was an animal and cat lover. She was a devoted homemaker to her family and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was known to her family as the Original Mother Earth.Survivors include her children, Kathy (Danny Faller) Klein, Fred (Kathy) Klein, Lynne (Tracy) Manifold, Grace (Kevin) Bebout and Ron (Zulay) Klein; daughter-in-law, Teresa Klein; grandchildren, Zachary, Jason, Seth, Joseph, Thomas, Christian, Jessica, Eric, Kassandra and Marissa; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former Husband, Ronald E. Klein in 2015; son, Steven Klein; brother, Steve Mintos and Jack and Cora Humphrey, who raised her.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Anne to Foundation For Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.The family would like to thank the staff and caretakers of Hospice of Central Ohio and Newark Hills Health and Rehab Center for all of the love and excellent care provided to Anne.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremations Service is honored to care for Anne and the Klein family.
