Anthony Leon "Tony" Walker

Anthony Leon “Tony” Walker, age 68, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital-Newark. Tony was born May 30, 1956 in Newark, Ohio.

At one time, Tony was a production worker for LICCO. He enjoyed watching sports, especially OSU football, sitting outside on the porch getting fresh air, and watching nature.

He is survived by his nephew, Antonio Scott Nichols of Sunbury; niece, Diana Lynette Nichols of Newark; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lee Walker; his sister, Annette Louise Heyward; and his grandmother who raised him, Lula Perry Walker.

The family will observe a private memorial.
