April Lea Bumm

April Lea Bumm, 48, of Pataskala, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born April 15, 1974, in Columbus to Thomas C. and Sharon L. (Mitchell) Coate. April was an animal lover and especially enjoyed caring for her chickens who all had names. She enjoyed listening to music, cheering for the Buckeyes, and spending time with her family and especially watching her son Damian, play football and wrestling for Watkins Memorial. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Bumm; children, Haley (Gage) Warrick, Eli (Cierra) Miller, Holly Bumm, and Damian Bumm; two granddaughters, Junia and Julia Warrick; her parents, Tom and Sharon Coate; sister, Stacy (Mike) Knight, and special niece Brittney Dean She was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Coate; brother Michael Coate; and mother-in-law, Joyce L. Bumm. Memorial contributions may be made in April’s memory to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr. SW, Heath, OH 43056. Visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Hoskinson Funeral Home- Kirkersville, 285 E. Main St. Kirkersville, where the funeral service will follow at 5:00pm with Pastor John Ennis officiating.
