Ashley B. Gleckler

A memorial service celebrating the life of Ashley B. Gleckler, 42 of Heath, will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, with Pastor Michael Ensey officiating. Ashley was born in Newark, Ohio on September 18, 1980 to the late Mary Gleckler, and Roger Vest, who survives. Ashley worked in armed security for many years. He was a member of Christian Life Center in Heath. He was an OSU and New York Giants fan, and enjoyed working on classic cars, camping, fishing, attending church and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his father, survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Nona Gleckler, whom he married February 23, 2002; children, Morgan Gleckler, Jacob (Emily Martinez) Gleckler, Emily Gleckler, Madelynn Young and Isaac Nightingale; nieces and nephews, Kyle Nightingale, Bobby Nightingale, Brandon Nightingale, Hannah (Andrew Gill) Nightingale, Payton Gill and Laykin Gill; and many cousins and friends. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Gleckler; and cousins, Miles Dearman and Tiffany Potter.
