Audrey Marie Billman

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Audrey Marie Billman, 84, of Newark, will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date in Wilson Cemetery.Audrey was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on March 31, 1931 to the late Silas and Lucille (Welch) Billman. She passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on April 13, 2015.Prior to retiring, she worked for Kress Box for many years. She was a member of the Country Music Fellowship Association. She enjoyed doing leather work, crocheting, knitting, photography, traveling, loved spending time with her animals, and spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her two sisters, Barbara (E.J.) Franks and Loretta Hayes, all of Newark; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Lois Rogers; and two brothers-in-law, Bobby Hayes and Bill Rogers.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Audrey to the Licking County Aging Program, 1058 E.
