Barbara Ann Howell

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Barbara Ann Howell, 76, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015, in Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Beth Bateson as celebrant. Burial will follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville. Barbara died peacefully on Tuesday morning, February 17, 2015, with her family at her side. She was born October 21, 1938, in Rittman, the daughter of the late Lester and Helen (Cshuta) Workman. She had worked in the banking industry for many years at BancOhio and in accounting for Pepsi Ohio. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She is survived by her loving family: husband Dwaine, sons Kevin (Becky) and Joseph (Anna) Howell, grandchildren: Jay Cox, Trent (Meagen) Howell, Andria (Jesse) Coppel, Kaitlyn, Kelsey and Rachel Howell; great-grandson Wesley; sisters Mary (Kenneth) Henneger, Lois (David) Lustig, brother Louis (Kathy) Workman; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother William Bill Workman and a sister Cheryl Workman. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56. S Main Street.
