Barbara Ann Mattis

Barbara A. Mattis, age 76, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Arlington Care Center. Barbara was born June 24, 1938 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Vernon Gilbert and Clara Adelaide (Sharpe) Edwards.Barbara was a graduate of Cambridge High School and was employed at Bob Evans in the Columbus area for over 20 years.She is survived by four children, Deb Wilhelmsen of Newark, Tim (Michele) Cost of Florida, Taze (Bill) Pickett of Oklahoma and Tonya (Jeff) Weakley of Columbus; fourteen grandchildren, Kari, Jenny, Alex, Justin, Blessing, Timmy, Kevin, Cassie, Marlin, Joshua, Aaron, Brooke, Nickolas and Jacob; and several great-grandchildren.At her request, there will be no calling hours or service observed.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Mattis family.
