Barbara E. Rathburn

A funeral service celebrating the life of Barbara E. Rathburn, 75, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral andCremation Service with Pastor Matt Clark as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Barbara died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born February 17, 1943, in Stonecold, W.V., the daughter of the late Delbert and Isabell (Dillon) Fields. She was a homemaker and also worked in maintenance for Master Maintenance. She is survived by her loving family: her husband Lee, whom she married in 1983; her daughters Diane Rose, Darlene Rose, Shennie (Robert) Biggs, Sherrie Stynchula; her 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; along with her brothers Lester (Aileen), Albert (Atheline), Clancy (Odessa) and Bennie Fields, and sister Vicie Chapman, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers and a sister.
