Barbara Faye Horn

A funeral service celebrating the life of Barbara Faye Horn, 59, of Sugar Grove, will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville, on Thursday, two hours prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Barbara was born in Grayson, Kentucky on March 2, 1965 to the late Roscoe Miller and Pauline (Stephenson) McCalvin. She passed away at Fairfield Medical Center on August 22, 2024. Barbara worked as a fabricator at Fabricated Packaging Material for several years. She enjoyed crafting, camping and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Melanie Horn, Tabitha Horn and Nathaniel Horn; grandchildren, Thomas Jones, Somara Jones and Kyran Matson; sisters, Connie Sue (Gary) Pope, Anna Marie (Merle) Richardson and Ruie Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Horn; daughter, Carolyn Horn; and son, Robert Horn.
