Barbara J. Marcum

Barbara J. Marcum, 74, was called to be with the Lord, from her home in Thornville on January 26, 2015. She was born December 8, 1940 to the late Henry and Alta Hutton, and was a longtime resident of Columbus. She enjoyed crocheting gifts for her family, loved collecting angels, and now she will be an angel for all of her loved ones. She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne (Kevin Hite) Duff, and Alta Morgan; grandchildren Jeremy Duff, Shaun (Nicole Denman) Duff, and Colleen Holmes; step-grandchildren, Kevin Hite II and Heather (Adam) Evans; brother, Herman (Sue) Hutton; sisters Doris Ryan, Marlene Rich, and Alma Bright; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Henry Jay Hutton, Jr., and Kenneth Hutton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 30 at The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Thornville, with a memorial service to follow.
