Barbara Jeanne Belt

Barbara Jeanne Belt, age 89, of Millersport, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Pickering House in Lancaster.She was born July 21, 1926 in Illinois.Barbara managed a Lawson's Store in the 60's and retired from Tom Jones Insurance in Millersport where she had been employed in the 70's. Following their retirement, Barbara in her husband resided in Arizona for a number of years.She is survived by four sons, Jim (Claudia) Belt of Thornville, Jack (Pat) Belt of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jerry (Kathy) Belt of Newark and Terry (Ruth) Belt of Millersport; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob J. Belt, on April 16, 2005; and by a brother, William Calvin.At her request, there will be no visitation or service observed.Memorial contributions may be made to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130.Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to care for Barbara and her family.
