Barbara Lewis

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Barbara Jean Lewis, 80, of Thornville, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with her sister Earline May as celebrant. Barbara died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Columbus. She was born November 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Earl J. and Mary Elizabeth (Klapp) Francis. She managed the El Adobe restaurant in Grandview for many years, and retired from DFAS after many years of service. She is survived by her family, husband John, daughters Sherry Lewis, Earline Clapsaddle and Theresa (Richard) Lannan; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with her sisters Patty, Marianne, Bettigene and Earline. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4:00 p.m. until time of the funeral services at the funeral home, 56. South Main St. in Thornville.
