Barbara Elizabeth Radwell

A funeral service celebrating the life of Barbara Elizabeth Radwell, age 77, of St. Louisville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Clifford Mason as celebrant. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Barbara was born March 24, 1947 in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Barbara was an excellent seamstress and made beautiful clothing, including wedding dresses. She was known for sewing outfits for geese for all occasions and sports teams. She enjoyed gardening and canning and was an excellent cook. In addition to sewing, she also enjoyed crocheting.

Barbara is survived by three daughters, Kimberly (Dan) Erlenbach, Sonja Smith, and Kora Smith; grandchildren, Danielle Erlenbach, Colleen Martin, William Martin, Kahala Duffield, and Barbie Smith; great-grandchildren, Daniel Cunningham, Devon Erlenbach, Damien Duffield, and Anastasia; brothers, William Sothen, Jr., Harry (Judy) Sothen, Bobby (Anna) Sothen, Ronald (Katherine) Sothen, Gary Sothen, David (Debra) Roberts, and Robert Robinson; sisters, Betty (Elwood) Hamlin, Mary June (Len) Ross, Bonnie Bunting (Buck Rader), and Lisa (David) Radwell; many nieces and nephews; and several step-brothers and step-sisters.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Harry Lewis and Mary Sothen; mother, Phyllis (Hirer) Sothen; brothers, Charles Roberts, Jimmy Sothen, Roy Hyre, and Walter Robinson; and sisters, Wanda Sothen, Linda Bennett, and Sarah Ann Robinson.
