A celebration of life graveside service for Beatrice Eileen Reeb, age 99, will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskison Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Beatrice was born in Newark, Ohio on May 26, 1924 to the late Carey and Esther (Johnson) Levingston. She passed away in Kansas on December 3, 2023. Beatrice proudly served her country in the United States Navy during World War II. She was a member of the VFW, enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Cynthia S. Reeb and her fiance’, Ronald Schmidt, Glenn R. Reeb and Timothy A. (Annette) Reeb; grandchildren, William Gatliff II, Mary Eileen (Rick) Wright, Jessica (Will) Quist, Scott Reeb, Bryan Reeb and Darrin (Stephanie) Reeb; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Wesley Reeb; brothers, Orville Jackson Levingston and Ralph Dean Levingston; half-brother, Thomas Rodgers; and sister, Kathleen Busche.
