Bennie "Wayne" Pollard

A funeral service celebrating the life of Bennie Wayne Pollard, 72, of Hebron, will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wayne was born in Rocky Mount, NC on November 7, 1945 to the late Bennie Wright and Marion (Rogers) Pollard. He passed away at his residence on July 2, 2018. Prior to retirement, Wayne was a pharmacist for over 40 years. He was a HAM radio operator and he enjoyed restoring classic cars. Most important was the time he spent with his loving family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife, Alice Lorraine (Martin) Pollard, whom he married April 2, 2002; children, Troy (Myra) Pollard, Sherry (Jason) Goodrich, Steve Pollard, Pamela (Jacob) Lamb, Martin (Christine) Reese; step-children, Andrew (Carolyn) Brooks, William (Marjorie) Brooks, Pamela (Terry) Cook, Debbie (Paul) Brown, Melvin Brooks and Summer Brooks; brothers, Walt (Patti) Pollard, Mike (Vickie) Pollard and Mark (Teresa) Pollard; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Fisher. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Wayne to the Michael J.
