Bernie Joseph Holloway

A funeral service celebrating the life of Bernie Joseph Holloway, age 31, of Newark, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Clifford Mason officiating.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Bernie was born June 30, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away on March 14, 2022 in Denver, Colorado.

Bernie was a carnival worker and really enjoyed his work and traveling all over the United States for his job. He loved playing the guitar.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Bernard & Kelly Holloway; son, Alexander Holloway; daughter, Sophia Holloway; sister, Elizabeth; brothers, Brian, Shawn, Jason, Kenny, Michael, Dalton, Piper and David; step-siblings, D.J., Audrey, Miranda, Nathaniel, and Nicholas; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Carrie (Hoskinson) Holloway.
