Beth Bishop

A memorial service, celebrating the life of Beth Ann Bishop, 60, of Buckeye Lake, will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013, at 3:00 P.M in the chapel of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E Main St (US RT 40) in Kirkersville. Her cremated remains will be scattered in Sint Maarten at a later date.Beth died suddenly on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Newark. She was born March 16, 1953 in Findlay, the daughter of the late George and Betty (Zoz) Bishop. She was a 1971 graduate of Findlay H.S., and a 1974 graduate of Mt Carmel College of Nursing. She worked as an R.N. for many years, for Mt. Carmel and the Columbus Eye Center. She truly loved being a nurse.She celebrated life at her beloved Sint Maarten for the past 28 years.She is survived by her loving family: her husband Dwight B. Rowland (aka Ed White) of Buckeye Lake, her brothers George (Karen) Bishop of Findlay, David (Lorinda) Bishop of Walbridge, sister Lou Thayer of Findlay, sister and brother-in-law Carol (Jerry) Fickle of Columbus, 8 nieces and nephews, and many life long work friends in the Columbus nursing community.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Mount Carmel College of Nursing, 127 S Davis Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43222.An on-line guest register and video tribute to Beth are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.
