Betty Ann George, 92, of Hebron, died Thursday, March 24, 2022 at her home. She was born May 31, 1929 in Hebron to the late Arthur and Grace (Blade) Fulk. Betty was a member of Hebron New Life United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post #285 in Hebron. She worked at Hebron Elementary School in the cafeteria for 32 years. Betty was an excellent cook and baker who enjoyed sharing her passion with others. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren including watching them play many different sports and traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (John) McOsker; four grandchildren, James “Jimmy” Modesitt, Amy Barcus, Rebecca McOsker, and Brian McOsker; three great grandchildren, Braiden, Ashton, and Kenzlee Barcus; one sister, Margie Wolf; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Emerson George; three daughters, Christy Modesitt and son in law, Paul Modesitt, Linda George, and Pattie George; five sisters; and two brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to Hebron New Life United Methodist Church and/or Hospice of Central Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 pm at The Kirkersville home of the HOSKINSON Funeral and cremation service where the funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating.
