Betty Jean Deeds

Betty Jean Deeds, age 59, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. Betty was born November 20, 1956 in Kanawha, West Virginia to the late Harry and Ruby (Boggs) Deeds.Betty had been a housekeeper at hotels in the area. She loved animals and collected cats.She is survived by her life partner, Michael Roberts of Pataskala; sons, Michael Roberts and Steven Roberts of Newark; grandson, Connor Roberts; brothers, Ira Deeds of Mount Perry and William Deeds of Zanesville; sister, Arlene Deeds of Kentucky; sister-in-law, Rosa Walsh; nieces and nephews, Laura Lowery, Frances Souder, Lester Souder and Rob Deeds, all of Pataskala; Robert Souder of Grove City; Hope Waller of Mount Perry; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Souder; and two brothers, Johnny Deeds and Larry Deeds.The Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to care for Betty and her family.
