Betty Lou Grove

A memorial service celebrating the life of Betty Lou Grove, 81, of Newark, will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Celebrant Clifford Mason officiating. Betty Lou was born in Newark, Ohio on February 13, 1940 to the late Cecil and Audrey Vivian (Fowler) Presgraves. She passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2022. Prior to retirement, Betty Lou was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed cooking, yard work, bowling and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Brian (Debbie McCoy) Grove; grandchildren, Joseph (Stephanie) Grove, Tiffinnie Grove, Andrew Grove, along with four other grandchildren; great grandchildren, Kylie, Madyson, Joanna, Legend, Kayden, Anya, Harleen and Freya; sisters, Victoria Atwood and Linda Buckner; nephews, Brian Holmes and Michael Holmes; niece, Vickie Holmes; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Grove; step father, Mearl Devoll; and a grandson, Isaac. Memorial contributions may be made to the Licking County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
