Betty "Susie" Harding

Betty “Susie” Harding, 77, of Hebron, passed away on September 16, 2021 at her residence in Hebron. She was born in Breaks, Virginia on March 14, 1944 to the late Vernon and Bertha (Owens) Phillips. Susie was a loving mother and devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Theresa J. Harding, Sue E. (Chuck) Wadley and Steve M. Harding; grandchildren, Bruce E. (Beth) Scanlon, Matthew L. Scanlon, Chris (Jill) Wadley and Christina M. Harding; great grandchildren, Rylee J. Walker and Maria L. Scanlon; siblings, Loretta G. Pittman, Nancy A. (Jack) Gordon-Selak and David C. (Kathy) Phillips; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Harding, Jr.; siblings, Carl Phillips, Bill Phillips, Jim Phillips, Katie Motts and Vernon Phillips, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Susie to Heartland Hospice.
