Billy Eugene Phillips

Billy Eugene Phillips passed Feb. 12th in Newark, OH, at the age of 90.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Clark Anderson, and his wife, Anna Mae McLaughlin.  Billy and Anna Mae were married 68 yrs. and had lived chiefly in Belmont Co., OH, Marshall Co. and Wetzel Co., WV.  He is survived by his children: Meneva (Robert) Peters of Granville, OH, Ruth Kirkpatrick, and Nettie Thompson both of Clovis, NM, 9 grandchildren, 13 g-grandchildren, 7 gg-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Billy retired from the B&O Railroad, where he had worked for 42 yrs.  He loved woodworking, hunting, camping, traveling, reading his Bible, and spending time with his family.  Billy was known to have forest animals just walk up to him and eat right out of his hands.  He will be deeply missed by many family and friends.

Services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main Street in Kirkersville, Ohio 43033. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 17, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Kirkersville Cemetery.
