Billy Ray Laubensheimer, Jr., age 68, of Newark, was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 16, 1947 to the late Bill Ray Sr. and Anna Mae (Smith) Laubensheimer. He passed away at his residence on January 19, 2016.Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he worked at O.D.W. Logistics. He was a lifetime member of The Ohio Society of Traditional Archers and was a member of the Claylick Bowhunters. He enjoyed hunting, singing, fishing, flat track racing, NASCAR, shooting and listening to Mels girls playing music. He especially enjoyed his time on the creek bank and loved the woods.
