Blendon Louise Mack

A funeral service celebrating the life of Blendon Louise (Jones) Mack, age 102, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Clifford Mason as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Blendon was born August 24, 1922 in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Beasley) Allen. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at her daughter's home with her daughter, Kathy Ham, by her side.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Ham and Judy Alessio; two grandsons, Anthony and his wife Pam and their two children, Sara and Preston; and Frankie Alessio, and his two children, Devon and Frankie Jr.; as well as two nephews, Gary and Terry Alwood and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Mack, who passed in 2003; and by her beloved sister and brother in law, Bonnie and Joe Alwood.
