Bobbie Dale Saunders

Bobbie Dale Saunders, 74, of Newark, passed away at his residence on May 27, 2022. He was born in Newark, Ohio on October 1, 1947 to the late Walter J. Saunders Jr. and Ethel Marie (Geckler) Saunders. Bobbie proudly served his country as a Logistics Engineer for over 31 years in the United States Army, where he was a Lieutenant. He enjoyed traveling, reading, going to theatres and was very handy. Bobbie loved his country and enjoyed studying the U.S. Constitution, but most important in his life, was the time he spent with his devoted wife, family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife, Karen Angle; sons, Robert (Gina) Saunders and Michael (Linda) Saunders; stepsons, Lance W. Angle, Jay Norris Moran, Clifford J. (Rebecca) Moran and William R. Moran; siblings, Betty, David and Del; 10 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Saunders.
