A graveside service, celebrating the life of Bonnie Jean Fluhart Peters, 84, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the Rosehill Cemetery, Roseville; where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert Fluhart.Bonnie died Thursday evening, July 23, 2015, in Newark, following an extended illness. She was born in Swifts, Ohio, on August 17, 1930, the daughter of the late William and Wilda (Weaver) Smith.She was a lifelong homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Waters Edge Assembly of God Church.She is survived by her family: daughter Jean Beckner of Roseville, sons Doug (Mickey) Fluhart and Victor (Donna) Fluhart of Newark; brothers Dwight (Shirley) Smith of Zanesville, Dan (Judy) Smith and Dennis (Bobbie) Smith of Newark; sisters Georgia Smith Minner of Zanesville and Paula Jane Ashcraft of Newark; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Fluhart and Jesse Peters, daughter Kathy Wilhoit and sisters Frances Northrup and June Cookson.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Newark home of CRISS WAGNER HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 179 Granville St., Newark.An on-line guest register is available at CrissWagnerHoskinson.com.CRISS WAGNER HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to care for Bonnie and her family.
