A funeral service, celebrating the life of Bonnie Joyce Straight, 69, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with Pastor Terry Borah as celebrant. Burial will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.Bonnie passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at O.S.U. Medical Center, Columbus. She was born in Gallia County, Ohio; on December 14, 1942, to Robert and Phyllis (Davis) Shepherd. Bonnie was a member of the Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting.She is survived by her husband, William, children Kenneth (Heather) Straight, William Straight, Tony (Dorothea) Straight, Tim (Lisa) Straight, grandchildren Chris, Derek, Elisha, Destany and Angel (Jacobus Bester), and many great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children Timothy Rowland and Linnie Gaye Foor and sister Diane Miles.Friends may call on Friday, November 9, from 6 8 P.M. at the Kirkersville home of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and video tribute to Bonnie are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the Straight Family.
