Brenda Kay Meckley

Brenda Kay Meckley, age 66, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton. Brenda was born April 29, 1954 in Newark, Ohio to the late Donald Thomas and Barbara Jean (Pettibone) Worth.

Brenda was primarily a homemaker but had also been employed at Newlon’s Restaurant in Newark. She resided in Arizona for 15 years and loved to travel as she was part of a military family. Brenda loved to have people over for dinner and to cook and was known for her delicious lasagna and homemade noodles, among other dishes. She enjoyed playing Bingo and doing crafts. One of her favorite crafts was making pig faces. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three sons, Jerimiah Wigle and James (Bobbie Brown) Wigle, all of Coshocton and Donald J. (Melissa) Wigle of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Alex Wigle, Michael Raddwell, Zach Wigle and Tyler Wigle; great-grandchildren, Ava, Elena and Emma; sisters, Sharon McCallister, Judith Boggs, Donna Snedden and Kathleen Worth; special cousin, Sandi Burford; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael “Swede” Meckley; and a brother, William Audrey Worth.

At her request, there will be no service observed.
