Brenda Kay Nauer, 61 passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, at her home in Hebron following a short battle with Cancer.
She enjoyed quilting, attending sporting events of her loved ones, being with her family and spending as much time as she could with her new granddaughter Paislee Helen. She was born April 18, 1961 in Newark, Ohio to the late Delmus R. Hayes and Carolyn Hayes who survives. A graduate of Lakewood High School, class of 1979, she enjoyed her career in Banking for over 40 years, retiring from Chase Bank.
Brenda Kay is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jim Nauer; son Cody (Lindsay Otis) Nauer; step-granddaughter Zoey; granddaughter Paislee Helen; her mother Carolyn Hayes; siblings Teresa (Glenn) Robinson, Rod Hayes, in-laws Danny Bowers, Kenny (Marge) Nauer, Chris (Dan) Wright, Tim Nauer, Rick (Beth) Nauer, Scott (Holly) Nauer, Dwayne Nauer, Ty (Shelly) Nauer; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; along her beloved dog Toby.
She was preceded in death by her father Delmus Hayes, her brother Tim Hayes and in-laws Leo and Helen Nauer.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Hebron home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 N 7 th Street in Hebron, where funeral services celebrating her life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with her nephew Terry Holbert as celebrant.
Honoring Brenda's wishes, she will be inurned with her family in the Licking Cemetery later.
