Brenton "Brent" Ivan Chivington

Brenton (Brent) Ivan Chivington, 76, of Lewis Center, Ohio, passed away on September 20, 2022. Brent was born in St. Marys, Ohio to Ivan and Beatrice (Sweigart) Chivington. He graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School in 1964 and went on to study at Otterbein University, graduating in 1969. He was married to his college sweetheart, Amy (Doan) Chivington, for over 52 years. His 30 year career in banking earned him a retirement to enjoy lunches with friends, time with family, and trips to some favorite destinations including Savannah, GA, Big Sky, Montana and Jackson, Wyoming. He enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State University football team and playing or watching golf. Brent is proceeded in death by his parents, Ivan and Beatrice Chivington, and his sister, Linda Chivington. He is survived by his wife, Amy (Doan) Chivington, brother David (Chris) Chivington, children, Eric (Jackie) Chivington and Emily (Greg) Mack, grandchildren Jacob, Julia, and Gavin Bockenstette, and Ivan, Kate, Lucy, Caci, Nora, and Anna Chivington.
