Brett Lee Ridenbaugh

Brett Lee Ridenbaugh, age 65, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at his home. Brett was born October 21, 1959 in Newark, Ohio to the late Robert and Beverly (Yount) Ridenbaugh.

Brett was a veteran of the United States Navy and faithfully served his country from 1978-82. He lived in Denver, Colorado for over 25 years where he was employed as a radiologist at North Suburban Medical Center. Brett loved being outdoors and enjoyed backpacking, cycling, hiking, and kayaking.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Millward of Newark; nieces, Lori, Ann (Tim), and Amber (Dan); great-nieces, Kaylyn, Kim, Madison, and Christen; and great-nephew, Kaden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bruce Ridenbaugh, Gary Yount, and Bobby Ridenbaugh; and a sister, Cindy Ridenbaugh.

At his request, Brett will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery near his brother, Bruce.
