Brian James Eveland

A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Brian James Eveland, 39, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, with Pastor Jeff Smith Officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, please follow these guidelines: Masks must be worn inside the funeral home and for your protection, a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing. Brian was born in Zanesville on May 25, 1981 to Roger and Linda (Craig) Eveland. He passed away on June 23, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Brian enjoyed dirt track racing and NASCAR, but most important was the time he spent with his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Roger “Fat Boy” and Amy Eveland; nephew, Ryan Eveland; niece, Autum Eveland; great niece, Ellie Eveland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; two aunts; and two uncles. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Brian and his family.
