Bridgett Elizabeth Ann Mckenzie

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Bridgett Elizabeth Ann McKenzie, age 27, will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.Bridgett was born in Tampa, Florida on June 2, 1989 to her late father, David Edward McKenzie and her loving and dedicated mother, Barbra (Blackstone) McKenzie of Plain City, Ohio.Bridgett enjoyed listening to music, dancing, taking long rides in the car, playing with balloons, being outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.In addition to her mother, survivors include one brother, Neil McKenzie; Maternal grandmother, Martha Blackstone; paternal grandmother, Ruth Donaldson; special friend, Frank Hay; aunts, Betsy (Eric) DeWitt and Evelyn Curtis; uncles, Brad (Joan) Blackstone, Brent Blackstone and Bruce (Jill) Blackstone; and numerous cousins and friends.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Wayne Blackstone; paternal grandfather, Neil McKenzie; and maternal great grandparents, Jerry and Carrie Blackstone and William and Edith Elder.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bridgett to Easter Seals, 3830 Trueman Court, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Bridgett and her family.
