A Mass of Christian Burial for Bruce Merritt Tuttle, age 76, of Hebron, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 5133 Walnut Road, Buckeye Lake, with Father Bill Hritsko officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pataskala, where Military Honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street in Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 p.m.
Bruce was born May 16, 1945 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Harry and Francis (Krin) Tuttle. He passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital.
Bruce was a veteran of the United States Navy and faithfully served his country in Vietnam. He retired from Eaton Aerospace in Jackson, Mississippi, where he had been a master scheduler. Bruce was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. He was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and ushered at the Schott for OSU as well as at Nationwide Arena for Columbus Blue Jackets games.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy (McClain) Tuttle, whom he married August 22, 1998; and by three sons, Bruce of Washington, Mark (JoAnne) of California, and Todd (Ty) of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Nathan, Erica and Michael; and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth A. Tuttle.
