C. Larry Wilson

A funeral service celebrating the life of C. Larry Wilson, age 60, of Thornville, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Vineyard Christian Church, 9286 York Road SW, Pataskala, with Pastor Brian Burd officiating. Burial will take place in Kirkersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the service at the church on Thursday.Larry was born December 5, 1955 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to Robert C. and Lucy G. (Higgins) Wilson. He passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Grant Medical Center.Larry was a self-employed contractor and was a member of the Vineyard Christian Church of Pataskala.In addition to his parents, Bob and Lucy Wilson of Buckeye Lake, he is survived by his wife, Jamie Sue (Whitson) Wilson, whom he married January 1, 2012; four children, Melissa (Michael) Workman and Laura (Douglas) Brown, both of New Albany, Benjamin Wilson and Kathryn Wilson, both of Pataskala; three step-children, Tiffany (Jerrad) Smith of Heath, Charles Burchard of Etna and Jakob Whitson of Thornville; grandchildren, Courtney (Dakota) Horn, Brandon Workman, Allison Workman, Caiden Smith and Carter Smith; great-grandchildren, Daniel Horn and Sophia Horn; sisters, Sharon (Bruce) Beneze of Peyton, Colorado and Anita Biehl of Newark; brother, Robert Rob Wilson, Jr. of Newark; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Jacob Messer; and brother-in-law, Barry E.
