Carl "Lacie" Loudermilk

Calling hours for Carl Lacie Loudermilk, 77, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Lacie was born in Outville, Ohio on September 9, 1940 to the late Charles Loudermilk and Virginia (Cochran) Gordon. He passed away at his residence on February 16, 2018 while surrounded by his family. Lacie proudly served his family in the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he was a brick and block mason for many years and was a member of the Bricklayers Union #55. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading, but most important was the time he spent with his loving family. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon (Walker) Loudermilk, whom he married August 24, 1973; daughters, Peggy (John) Bell, Jamie (Shawn Elkins) Wesley, Lisa and Lacy Loudermilk; grandchildren, Logan, Mason and Jordyn Wesley, Saharra, Benjamin, and Collin Humphries, Mikkel Loudermilk and Sophie Peaire; sister, Barb; brothers, Lloyd and Brad; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Linzie Bell; sister, Mary; and brother, Bill.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Lacie and his family.
