Carl Woodrow Morris

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Carl Woodrow Morris, 71, of Thornville, will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Doug Lynn officiating.Carl was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 19, 1944 to the late Clyde Woodrow and Lucy Ellen (Montgomery) Morris. He passed away at his residence on September 4, 2015 while surrounded by his loving family.Prior to retirement he worked in sales with Clarko Bingo Supply in Lancaster, and also managed the Beachcomber at Shell Beach. He was a member of the Thornville Chapter # 156, Order of Eastern Star and the Thornville Masonic Lodge # 521. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, feeding birds, spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and family.Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Soni (Snider) Morris, whom he married April 15, 1967; daughter, Shelli (Kevin Krumlauf) Morris; son, Corry (Carol) Morris; grandchildren, Carson and Carley Morris; brother and sisters, Carolyn (Ed) Greeno, James (Joy) Morris and Debbie Richardson; his beloved pet, Maggie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Chapter of Ohio, OES Charitable Foundation, c/o Cheryl Bullis, 13706 US Route 68, Mt.
