Carol A. Peck

A funeral service celebrating the life of Carol A. Peck, age 70 of Heath, will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Rath officiating. Burial will follow at Hanover Cemetery.Carol was born in Newark, Ohio on November 27, 1945 to the late William H. and Virdella (Anderson) Zigan. She passed away on November 13, 2016 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.Carol was a home health care worker with Home Instead. She attended First United Methodist Church in Newark. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, going to yard sales and spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include one son, Brian (Glenda) Amende; grandson, Kameron Farris; sisters, Christine Fulton, Karen Rice and Sue Sellers; brother, Fred Zigan; sister-in-law, Nancy Zigan; caring former husband, James Amende; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Amende; brothers, Forrest Zigan and William Zigan; sister, Irene Zigan; sisters-in-law, Carol Zigan and Jean Zigan; and brothers-in-law, Jim Fulton and Steve Rice.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol to Foundation For Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., Newark on Thursday, November 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Carol and the Amende family.
