Calling hours for Carol F Griggs, 85, of Hebron, will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with inurnment to follow with full military honors in the Hebron Cemetery at a later date. Carol passed away at his home in Hebron on Thursday evening, December 13, 2018, with his family at his side. He was born November 10, 1933, in Columbus, the son of the late Benjamin H. and Mary (Buckler) Griggs. He served honorably in the US Army from 1950 until 1956. He had worked for Griggs Electric as an electrician and also drove truck for Hamilton Tanks. He was a big OSU Buckeye fan. He is survived by his loving family: step-children Cindy (Mike) Baughman, Bob (Paula) Stuck, Ted (Virginia) Stuck, Brian (Jenn) Stuck, Tracy (Kent) Groves, Jeff (Dawn) Stuck, David Stuck, Mike (Gina) Stuck, Carl (Linda) Griggs, along with his brothers Stanley and Ben Griggs; his 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Pat, Cappy, Charles, Jack, Bob, Dorel, Ted, James, and Richard Frank Griggs, along with his sisters Mary Joan Griggs and Marie Barrett.
