Carol Sue Myers

Carol Sue Myers, age 81, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Carol was born June 9, 1941 in Newark, Ohio to the late William Harry and Isabelle Elizabeth (Walker) McCormick.

Carol was formerly employed as a Quality Control Inspector at Walker Manufacturing. She was active with Newborns In Need and enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and her dogs, Chewie and Sophie.

She is survived by five children, Denise Fetherolf of Asheville, North Carolina, Elizabeth (Clifford) Mehl, Rochelle (Darrin) Smith, Richard L. (Kelley) Andrews, Jr., and Steven Myers, all of Newark; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Fetherolf; a brother, Charles McCormick; and a sister, Mary Alice Simpson.

Private inurnment will take place in Wilson Cemetery.
